The SDL Task Force is a consortium of technical specialists from both industrial and academic organizations:

• William Skelton representing SOLINET GmbH, Germany

• Vangelis Kollias representing TELETEL S.A., Greece

• Alkis Yiannakoulias from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece

• Qing Li from the University of Ottawa, Canada

The consortium agreement commits the members to cooperate for the purpose of fulfilling mandate of the SDL Task Force.  The consortium members form the editorial committee.

Decisions within the consortium are normally taken on the basis of a consensus of all members, however in the event that a consensus cannot be reached the aim is for a consensus within the editorial board.  Formally however, decisions based on a simple majority of the editorial board are binding for the consortium.
